Week 10 is here and it is time to take a good look at your lineups and decide whether you like the direction your team is headed. If you are sitting at 3-6, its time to make a season-deciding trade. If you’re sitting at 4-5, bolster your bench for later in the season. It’s also time to stop wasting a roster spot on players that have continued to let you down.
Before we can get ready for Week 10, lineups need to be set, decisions need to be made and let’s take a look at how last week’s predictions fared.
QB: Jameis Winston, Tampa Bay Buccaneers: 335 Passing YDS, 2 Passing TD, 20.2 PTS
RB: Le’Veon Bell, New York Jets: 66 Rushing YDS, 8 Receptions, 55 Receiving YDS, 20.1 PTS
WR: Allen Robinson, Chicago Bears: 1 Reception, 6 Receiving YDS, 1.6 PTS
TE: Greg Olsen, Carolina Panthers: 3 Receptions, 40 Receiving YDS, 7 PTS
QB: Philip Rivers, Los Angeles Chargers: 294 Passing YDS, 11.8 PTS
RB: James Conner, Pittsburgh Steelers: DNP
WR: Courtland Sutton, Denver Broncos: 5 Receptions, 56 YDS, 1 Receiving TD, 17.3 PTS
TE: Mark Andrews, Baltimore Ravens: 2 Receptions, 21 Receiving YDS, 4.1 PTS
Week 1: 5/8
Week 2: 6/8
Week 3: 4/8
Week 4: 6/8
Week 5: 4/8
Week 6: 2/8
Week 7: 6/8
Week 8: 4/8
Week 9: 6/8
QB: Kyler Murray, Arizona Cardinals
Opponent: at Buccaneers
Kyler Murray has been terrific thus far for the Cardinals and has helped the franchise move in the right direction. In Week 10 the Heisman Trophy winner goes up against a Buccaneers defense that has allowed the third most points to opposing quarterbacks and should be started in all lineups.
RB: Tevin Coleman, San Francisco 49ers
Opponent: vs. Seahawks
After posting a dud in Week 9 against the Cardinals, Tevin Coleman will rebound on Monday Night Football against the Seahawks with the expected return of starting left tackle Joe Staley, right tackle Mike McGlinchey, and fullback Kyle Juszcyk to help solidify the run blocking.
WR: Zach Pascal, Indianapolis Colts
Opponent: vs. Dolphins
The Colts will be without star receiver T.Y. Hilton in Week 10 against the Dolphins, and Zach Pascal will look to take advantage of an increased target share.
TE: O.J. Howard
Opponent: vs. Cardinals
If O.J. Howard wants to get his season on track, it’s going to happen in Week 10. With six teams on bye, Howard has the highest ceiling of any streamer.
QB: Kirk Cousins, Minnesota Vikings
Opponent: at Cowboys
Kirk Cousins on Sunday Night Football?
And you’re thinking about starting him?
Cousins has a horrid 5-13 record in prime-time contests and should be on every single bench against Dallas.
RB: Devonta Freeman, Atlanta Falcons
Opponent: at Saints
With a suspect offensive line decimated by injuries, Devonta Freeman will struggle at the Superdome when the Falcons travel to the Big Easy.
WR: JuJu Smith-Schuster, Pittsburgh Steelers
Opponent: vs. Rams
By far the biggest fantasy disappointment of the 2019 season, JuJu Smith-Schuster popped up on the injury report ahead of the Steelers’ clash with the Rams. Find another option at receiver.
TE: Chris Herndon, New York Jets
Opponent: vs. Giants
Chris Herndon has yet to make his mark on the 2019 season and what looks to be a mess of a Meadowlands clash with the Giants.
