Three people were wounded in a shooting early Monday in Far East Dallas, police said.

Officers were called about 1:30 a.m. to an apartment complex in the 2000 block of Highland Road, police call records show.

KXAS-TV (NBC5) reported that police said three adults wounded in the shooting were hospitalized with injuries that weren’t expected to be life-threatening.

Police told KXAS-TV that a suspect in the shooting fled the scene and was arrested about 2:40 a.m. in the 2900 block of Valentine Street in South Dallas.

WFAA-TV (Channel 8) described the shooting on Highland Road as a “domestic dispute,” citing police sources.

Details about what led to the shooting were not immediately available Monday morning.
